About John Hallis
Past experiences:
- Owner and head machinist of North Freedom Engineering
- Reversed engineered and manufactured hundreds of types of parts from a variety of materials
- Development Engineer at Federal Cartridge Company from 1991 to 2000
- Designed and presented a ballistic training for the Quantico FBI training center
- Worked with the United States Olympic team to optimize target ammunition accuracy

- Designed and manufactured custom firearm and tractor parts
- Tested lubricants for rust-proof capacity using a DOE approach
- Tested and improved accuracy of FAL firearms by modifying frame fit, receiver fit, & BOSS accessory
- Worked on the development and testing of non-toxic ammunition

John Hallis is the owner and lead engineer at Dauntless Endeavors, LLC. He has years of experience as a product development engineer in the ammunition industry and has also spent over 15 years running his own machine shop.
John Hallis is also proud to have served in the Army in the 82nd Airborn.
